While cruising my weather page to check that the home mountain’s pack is slowly building while I am away, and I find out that Timberline is making up for the last 3 years of marginal snow with a killer storm! NOAA is forecasting close to 48 inches of accumulation on Mt. Hood’s highest resort in the next 2 days.
BMW’s suggestion: Get out on the mountain next week around Thursday for some of the best snow conditions of the year so far! I would predict that the whole mountain will be open by next weekend. If you do go, please post photos in the comments so I may live vicariously through your experiences!
If you do take my advice to go shred Hood this week, stop by Sparky’s Pizza in Sandy on your way back home. Best Pizza by the slice and GIANT $0.99 breadsticks around. The crew is super nice and the place is covered in awesome sport memorabilia as well as different places Sparky’s crew has traveled. They were also awesome enough to text me a photo to get your mouth watering for their “Schticks”.
